Your driver collects you from your hotel in Cairo in a modern air-conditioned car for the drive of about six hours (some 440 km) to St Catherine in South Sinai. You check in at your hotel and the rest of the day is free, with dinner at the hotel. Overnight in St Catherine. Meals: dinner.

At about 01:00 you are collected from your hotel and start the climb of Mount Sinai (Jebel Musa) with a Bedouin guide, reaching the summit in time for sunrise. After coming down you visit St Catherine’s Monastery at around 07:00, one of the oldest working Christian monasteries in the world, named after St Catherine of Alexandria. You return to the hotel for breakfast before the drive back to Cairo. Meals: breakfast.
