Always Included on Every Itinerary

The following ten items are standard on every Egypt Day Tours private itinerary, whether you book a 4-day Cairo trip, a 14-day full-Egypt programme, or a shore excursion from Alexandria Port.

  • Your Egypt e-visaThe Egypt e-visa costs $25 per person and is bought through the official Egyptian government portal. We send you the step-by-step walkthrough after sign-off.
  • Travel insuranceNot included, but strongly recommended (see Travel Insurance Recommendation on our cancellation policy page). We suggest providers; you book direct.
  • Tips for guides, drivers, hotel staff, cruise crewStandard practice in Egyptian tourism is to tip separately. We send a clear tipping guide on the day of arrival so you know what is expected.
  • Personal drinks beyond bottled water in the vehicleCoffees, sodas, juices, and snacks during stops are on you.
  • Alcoholic beverages on the Nile cruiseVaries by vessel. Some boats include an open-bar drinks package; some include beer and house wine with dinner only; some require you to buy each drink.

Why We Quote Everything Itemized

Most Egypt tour operators give you a single all-in price with a vague inclusion list. We quote line by line because we have learned, across 25,000+ trips, that buyers are happier when they can see exactly what each element costs and choose accordingly.

Practically, that means:

  • Every quote shows hotel cost, guide cost, vehicle cost, entrance-fee total, flight or train cost, and cruise cost as separate line items.
  • Hotel options are offered at two or three category levels per city, so you can mix a 5-star in Cairo with a 4-star in Aswan if that fits your budget.
  • Default quote currency is USD. EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, and SAR are available on request.
  • Quoted prices hold for 14 days from the day we send them. After 14 days, supplier rates may have moved.
  • After sign-off, the price is final. There is one number on the invoice and no surprise additions.

Tips are not included. Standard Egyptian tourism practice is to tip guides, drivers, hotel staff, and cruise crew separately. We send a clear tipping guide on arrival day so you know typical amounts.

Are alcoholic drinks included on the Nile cruise?

Depends on the vessel. Some include a drinks package, some include beer and house wine with dinner only, some are by-the-glass purchase. We tell you which applies to your specific cruise at quote stage.

What if I want to upgrade a hotel during the trip?

You can. We pass through the actual rate difference to the supplier with no markup. Message Attar on WhatsApp and we typically confirm the upgrade within an hour.

Is travel insurance included?

No. Travel insurance is your responsibility, but we strongly recommend it. It covers things our policy cannot, like personal illness or family emergencies at home.

Are domestic flights actually included, or is that an upsell?

Genuinely included. When your itinerary uses domestic flights, the ticket cost is built into the quote. You are not asked to buy flights separately.

What if I want private chamber access at the Great Pyramid?

Private chamber access is an optional VIP add-on costed separately. We list the current price at quote stage. Availability is limited; we recommend booking at least 30 days in advance.

Is the Grand Egyptian Museum entrance fee included?

Yes. Every entrance fee on your itinerary is included, the Grand Egyptian Museum included.
