Itinerary

Day 1:Luxor day tour by train

In the evening, meet our representative who will transfer you from your hotel in Cairo by air-conditioned coach to Giza station to take the first-class train to Luxor.

Day 2:Luxor sightseeing tour

The next stop will be at Valley of Kings are rock-cut tombs were excavated to be the burial tombs for the new Kingdom pharaohs and privileged nobles. It contains 63 tombs and chambers decorated with colorful scenes of ancient Egyptian mythologies, beliefs, and funerary rituals.

Afterward, head to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman who ruled Egypt from pre-dynastic history until today. The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut was dedicated to sun god worshiping and was the only 3 levels temple in the ancient world. with its connecting ramps, the Hatshepsut temple was a turning point in ancient Egyptian architecture. You will enjoy the wonderful reliefs illustrating the earliest trade agreement between 2 countries in ancient history.

Your final stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon, the Colossi is a twin massive statue of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III in a seated position. They were built to guard at the entrance of Amenhotep’s memorial temple. Afterward, relax on the coach ride back to Luxor train station to take your first class train to Cairo.

Cancellation Policy

Ibis Egypt tours do not require a cancellation fee for tours or excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons like volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons that are Out of control. If the booking cancellation happens For personal or business reasons and Ibis Egypt Tours has already incurred the booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

  • The whole amount will be charged if canceled less than 30 days before the check-in date.
  • 50% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 60 to 31 days before the check-in date.
  • 15% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 90 to 61 days before the check-in date.

Deposit and Payment

A 50% payment will be required from the total amount after confirming your tour booking as requested.
