Overview

Arriving in Cairo, an Egypt Day Tours representative assists with airport procedures and transfers you to your hotel. On the second day, explore the Pyramids of Giza, and the Great Sphinx, followed by a visit to the Egyptian Museum before boarding the sleeper train to Aswan.

In Aswan, visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple. Enjoy a free day in Aswan, then head to Edfu and Kom Ombo temples on your way to Luxor. In Luxor, visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple.

Take the sleeper train back to Cairo, where you’ll have a free day to explore before your departure on the last day.

Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival Day - Cairo

Egypt Day Tours airport representative will be waiting for you at Cairo airport, holding a sign with your name and will help you through the immigration and customs. He transfer you to your hotel with a private A/C vehicle. During your transfer, our representative will provide you with very helpful information about the whole trip so that your trip is the best it can be and then you have the opportunity to ask any questions. Arrival to your hotel and our Representative will help you with check in process.

Day 2:Visit the Great Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

After Breakfast, you will meet your personal Tour guide who will accompany you to visit Great Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. Also you will visit the Great Sphinx and its Valley Temple. Then you will have your lunch at open buffet local restaurant then, get to visit the Egyptian Museum which displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art , then you will be transferred to Cairo train station to catch the sleeping train to Aswan.

Day 3:Visit High Dam, Philae Temple At Aswan

Breakfast on train, upon arrival at the early morning (around 9:00 am) to Aswan train station our Tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour in Aswan. A day tour to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960, then you will have your lunch at open buffet local restaurant Afterwards, you will get to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which show how the ancient Egyptians cut the obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut. Finally, you will get to sail along the Nile to visit the majestic Philae Temple which was built on the honor of goddess Isis the chief deity of the island. The temple is associated with various love story sagas, then you will be transferred back to your hotel in Aswan.

Day 5:Visit To Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

Breakfast at your hotel, then our guide will pick you up from your hotel to enjoy a tour to Edfu. Edfu temple is located in west bank of Luxor, and it was dedicated to Hours the falcon headed god, the temple contains the best preserved shrine in Egypt, Then you will head to Temple of Kom Ombo standing on high grounds overlooking the Nile. It differs from other temples as it contains double entrance , then you will have your lunch at open buffet restaurant, at the end of of your tour you will continue your way to Luxor.

Day 6:Visit East and West Banks in Luxor

Breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick up you from your hotel to start your east and west bank tour in Luxor. you will start your tour by visiting the Valley of the Kings which was used for burial of many kings. later you will move to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut the only women who ruled Egypt until today. After passing by the Colossi of Memnon, then you will have your lunch at open buffer restaurant, you will get to visit Karnak temple and finally the Luxor Temple. At the end you will be transferred to Luxor train station to catch your sleeping train to Cairo.

The initial price is based on 1 adult in group size with the lowest price in the low season

Tipping

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and is left to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.

Children Policy

  • 0 – 01.99 Free of Charge (unless flights were included)
  • 2 – 5.99 pay 25% of the tour price and 50% of the tour price if it includes flights or sleeper train
  • 6 – 11.99 pay 50% of the tour price
  • 12+ pay full tour price as per adult person

If your tour package includes airfare, an extra charge for your children may apply.

Cancellation Policy

Ibis Egypt tours do not require a cancellation fee for tours or excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons like volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons that are Out of control. If the booking cancellation happens For personal or business reasons and Ibis Egypt Tours has already incurred the booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

  • The whole amount will be charged if canceled less than 30 days before the check-in date.
  • 50% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 60 to 31 days before the check-in date.
  • 15% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 90 to 61 days before the check-in date.

Deposit and Payment

A 50% payment will be required from the total amount after confirming your tour booking as requested. You can pay by credit or debit card (MasterCard/Visa) through the VeriSign Secured payment system on our website, and the Rest of the Payment will be on a Cash basis upon you Start Your Tour to the Ibis Egypt Tours representative.

Extra Expenses & Additional Entry Tickets

All tours don’t include entrance fees to special archaeological sites, such as walking inside one of the pyramids and the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo or entering the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor are also available at extra cost.
