Tipping is not included in any of our packages and is left to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.

Egypt Day Tours do not require a cancellation fee for tours or excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons like volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons that are Out of control. If the booking cancellation happens For personal or business reasons and Egypt Day Tours has already incurred the booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

No snorkeling experience is required. Professional guides provide orientation and instructions to beginners before entering the water. Guides accompany all snorkelers, offering assistance and safety monitoring. If you are anxious about water or snorkeling, inform the guide before boarding, and customized shallow-water experiences can be arranged.

The Ras Mohamed Snorkeling Tour provides masks, fins, and snorkels for all participants. Equipment is sanitized between uses and adjusted to fit properly. If you prefer to use your own personal snorkeling equipment, arrangements can be made upon advance request. Quality equipment enhances your experience, so notify the operator if you have specific requirements.

Red Sea water maintains comfortable temperatures year-round, ranging from 24 to 27 degrees Celsius (75-81 degrees Fahrenheit). For most people, this is pleasant and requires no additional thermal protection. However, if you are sensitive to cold or plan extended snorkeling, a thin wetsuit can be rented for a small additional fee.

Ras Mohamed National Park hosts exceptional coral and fish biodiversity including parrotfish, angelfish, groupers, triggerfish, sweetlips, lionfish, jacks, snappers, and numerous smaller reef inhabitants. Sea turtles, rays, and small sharks occasionally appear but are typically shy of humans. Colorful coral formations create the habitat supporting this remarkable marine ecosystem.

Wear rash guard shirts (provided or bring your own) to protect skin from sun and coral contact. Apply high-SPF waterproof sunscreen before boarding. Wear a hat onboard and seek shade during breaks. Avoid snorkeling during peak sun hours (11 AM to 2 PM) by planning outdoor activities during cooler morning and late afternoon periods when possible.

Guides provide briefing on appropriate snorkeler behavior, including respecting marine life, not touching coral, and maintaining distance from certain fish species.
