A restful Red Sea wellness and spa retreat on Egypt’s calm coast, with yoga by the water, spa and massage, healthy food, gentle sea time and snorkeling, and the laid-back peace of the Bedouin coast.
Some resets call for the sea. The Red Sea coast of Egypt, with its warm, impossibly clear water and its relaxed, sun-washed rhythm, is one of the world’s loveliest places to slow down. This wellness retreat trades the busy dive-holiday energy for something gentler: yoga by the water, unhurried spa days, healthy food, and long, restful hours by a calm and beautiful sea.
We base these retreats on the quieter, more soulful stretches of the coast, like the laid-back town of Dahab, where Bedouin-style lodges and a famously mellow vibe make relaxation effortless. Your mornings might begin with yoga on a deck overlooking the water, the sea flat and glowing in the early light. Your afternoons are yours: a massage, a swim, an easy snorkel over the reef just offshore, or simply a book and the sound of the waves.
The wellness here is simple and real. Movement, sea air, sun, rest, healthy meals, and the deep calm that comes from a place with nowhere to rush. Spa treatments and massage soothe tired bodies, gentle yoga keeps you supple, and the warm sea invites you in whenever you like. For those who want a little gentle activity, the Red Sea’s reefs are among the most beautiful in the world and easy to enjoy with a mask and snorkel.
This is restorative travel at its most relaxed, and it suits everyone from solo travelers to couples and friends. It is also wonderfully easy to combine with the rest of Egypt, a few restful days by the sea after the temples and the desert, or a calm finish to a fuller trip.
See how it compares with the other settings on our best wellness destinations guide, pair it with a desert detox retreat for contrast, and find it within our Egypt wellness retreats collection.
