All prices are in US dollars per person and depend on your travel dates, group size and hotel category. Every tour is private, so we prepare a quote for your own group. You can pay online through our secure payment gateway with no extra costs or surcharges.

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and is left to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.

• Under 6 years: free of charge
• 6 to 11 years: 50% of the adult price
• 12 years and over: full adult price

If your tour package includes airfare, an extra charge for your children may apply.

Egypt Day Tours do not require a cancellation fee for tours or excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons like volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons that are Out of control. If the booking cancellation happens For personal or business reasons and Egypt Day Tours has already incurred the booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

• The whole amount will be charged if canceled less than 30 days before the check-in date.
• 50% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 60 to 31 days before the check-in date.
• 15% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 90 to 61 days before the check-in date.

A 20% deposit confirms your booking (70% for groups of 20 travelers or more). You can pay the deposit by credit or debit card (MasterCard or Visa) through our secure online payment system, and you pay the balance in Egypt to your Egypt Day Tours representative when your tour starts.

All tours don’t include entrance fees to special archaeological sites, such as walking inside one of the pyramids and the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo or entering the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor are also available at extra cost.

You’ll spend the day exploring the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of Egypt’s newest cultural landmarks near the Giza Pyramids, home to the complete Tutankhamun collection along with thousands of other artifacts. From there we’ll head to the Saladin Citadel, an Islamic fortress on El Mokattam hill built to protect Cairo from the Crusaders, and visit the famous Muhammad Ali Mosque inside it.

We build in a generous amount of time at the Grand Egyptian Museum since there’s so much to see, including the full Tutankhamun collection. Your Egyptologist guide will walk you through the museum’s chronological layout so the history makes sense as you go.

The Muhammad Ali Mosque sits inside the Saladin Citadel and was built as an imitation of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul. It’s one of Cairo’s most recognizable landmarks, with a striking silhouette and sweeping views over the city.
