Egypt Day Tours do not require a cancellation fee for tours or excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons like volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons that are Out of control. If the booking cancellation happens For personal or business reasons and Egypt Day Tours has already incurred the booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

• The whole amount will be charged if canceled less than 30 days before the check-in date.
• 50% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 60 to 31 days before the check-in date.
• 15% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 90 to 61 days before the check-in date.

All tours don’t include entrance fees to special archaeological sites, such as walking inside one of the pyramids and the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo or entering the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor are also available at extra cost.

The drive from Alexandria to Cairo typically takes approximately two to two and a half hours each way, depending on traffic conditions. This journey covers roughly 225 kilometers along Egypt’s northern coast and inland routes. Our drivers are experienced with these routes and will ensure your comfortable arrival in Cairo with time to explore the major attractions.

We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen with high SPF protection, sunglasses, and a light scarf or shawl for sun protection. Bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. The Egyptian Museum is air-conditioned, so you may want to bring a light jacket. Wear modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees out of respect for Egyptian culture.

Tours can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour date for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour may be subject to a 50 percent cancellation fee.
