After that, our Egyptologist guide will accompany you to discover the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus ( Giza Pyramids ). Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body. Then you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then you will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the newest and most anticipated cultural landmarks in Egypt. This state-of-the-art museum is located near the Giza Pyramids and houses a vast collection of artifacts, including the complete Tutankhamun collection with many pieces displayed for the first time. Tour the Grand Egyptian Museum: Explore the museum’s extensive exhibits, which highlight the history, art, and culture of ancient Egypt. The museum is designed to offer a chronological walk through Egyptian history, bringing millennia of history to life through its incredible exhibits.. After breakfast, transfer to the second capital of Egypt, Alexandria, (Almost 3 hours driving) You will get to visit Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. You will get to visit the famous Alexandria Library, and the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa which is a very unique catacomb in Egypt, You will also visit the Montaza Garden and the palaces of King Farouk. Return to Cairo airport for a flight back to Hurghada.

You’ll spend the night in a Cairo hotel. On Day 2, we’ll drive you to Alexandria to see the Qaitbay Citadel, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, and the Montazah Gardens with King Farouk’s palaces, before returning you to Hurghada in the evening.
It’s around a 5 to 6 hour drive from Hurghada to Cairo, so we start early in the morning to make the most of your time at the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. Your Egyptologist guide will be with you throughout to make the drive comfortable and the sightseeing easy to follow.
