Your complete ground package for the Ahlan Wa Sahlan belly dance festival in Cairo: accommodation, airport transfers, rest-day sightseeing, and costume shopping, all handled by a local team so you focus on the dancing.
Once a year, dancers from every corner of the planet converge on Cairo for one of the great gatherings of the belly dance world: the Ahlan Wa Sahlan festival, a week of workshops with legendary teachers, nightly galas, competitions, and a sea of dazzling handmade costumes. If you are going, the festival itself is unforgettable. What it does not do is handle your trip. That is where we come in.
We are your ground team. While you lose yourself in workshops and shows, we take care of everything around them: a comfortable hotel positioned for the venue, smooth airport transfers, and support throughout so that nothing logistical pulls you away from the dancing.
The magic of a festival trip, though, is in the edges. Festivals run intensely, but there are rest hours and quieter days, and Cairo is waiting. On your downtime we can take you to the Pyramids and the Sphinx, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and, a particular favorite during festival week, the costume ateliers and Khan el-Khalili, where the city’s famous designers show their newest creations. Many dancers do their serious costume shopping precisely when they are in town for the festival.
We can also extend your trip on either side of the festival, adding private lessons with a master teacher, a Nile cruise, or a photoshoot in costume at the Pyramids, so your festival week becomes a complete Egyptian dance holiday.
Booking your festival logistics with a local operator means someone is always reachable, someone knows the city, and someone has your back, so you arrive relaxed and dance freely.
Add lessons via our belly dance lessons in Cairo page, or extend into a full belly dance tour package. Browse the wider scene in belly dance festivals in Egypt, plan a costume shopping tour, and meet the instructors who lead festival-week sessions on our master teachers page.
