Arrival Day - Cairo
Arrive at Cairo international airport; you will meet our local representative in the airport holding sign with your name. Cairo airport can be a bit hectic, so our representative will make such procedures much easier for you.
Next, stroll through the City streets on your way to your hotel. You will get a local intro to Cairo highlights from our rep and further clarification regarding your itinerary and what to expect at the next few days in your Cairo and Alexandria vacation package.

The Pyramids Tour
Breakfast
At 8 am after your breakfast, you’ll meet your private guide for a morning of exploration in Cairo. The first stop of the day will be at the Great Pyramids of Giza which is the oldest monument of the ancient wonders.
It is also the only one that still exists today. Pay attention to your guide as he tells you about how the pyramids had been constructed with very old and primitive techniques.
Pyramids were mainly built to house the remains of the deceased Pharaohs. Next, head to a panoramic view of all three pyramids of Giza to capture amazing photos that will last forever.
The following will be a visit to the Great Sphinx in Cairo, the guardian of the royal tombs. Have a peek at the Valley Temple of the Pyramid of Chephren.
(Optional ) if you are hungry you have a chance to tasting Egyptian meals that will be offered for lunch prepared with local products. Next, we will make our way to Zoser Step Pyramid in Sakkara. It is the oldest burial ground during the old kingdom for nobles surrounded by the oldest complete stone building complex for non-royal burials, the famous Step pyramid of king Djoser with its 6 rectangular bases.
It is considered the world’s first pyramids ever.
The second stop will be at the ancient city of Memphis; which was an important administrative and military, trade, religious, and commercial center. The ruins of ancient Memphis today offer fragmented evidence of its Glory past.
The ruins of ancient Memphis have yielded the largest limestone statue of Rameses II Pharaoh.
The last stop on our way to the south is to visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. King Sneferu’s Bent Pyramid had not been made correctly. Yet, it was a great learning experience for the Egyptians and a step further for building Giza Pyramids.
The Red Pyramid was the biggest and tallest pyramid standing in the kingdom until Sneferu’s son, Khufu, outdid his father by building his own pyramid at Giza plateau.

Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo Tour
Breakfast
After Breakfast, drive through the busy streets of Cairo to the final stop of the day; the Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum of Cairo contains 120,000 artifacts. It houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities.
An extensive collection of papyrus, Greek, Roman, and Islamic coins used in the Ancient world are located on the 1st floor. The best statue you will see is the Gold Mask of Tutankhamun.
The room also hosts the famous collection of the young king as well as a lot of sarcophagi from different dynasties. These sarcophagi give us a brief about how rich the owners were. Do not forget to have a loot at the Grave Mask of king Amenemope, Mummy mask of Psusennes I, Figurine of Khufu, Narmer Palette, and Merneptah Stele.
Saladin Citadel. It is an Islamic fortification located in El Mokattam hill near Cairo Center. The citadel was built to protect Cairo from the Crusader’s attacks. The citadel complex contains several important buildings such as the famous Muhammad Ali Mosque which was constructed as an imitation of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul.
You will also visit Al-Gawhara Palace which was Muhammad Ali’s official audience hall, where he used to receive his guests. The palace contains a 1000 kg chandelier which was a gift from Louis-Philippe I of France. It also contains Muhammad Ali’s throne that was a gift from the King of Italy.
Next, head to the Old Cairo complex where you will have a chance to spend some time walking around and visit the surroundings Coptic and Jewish monuments. Start by visiting the Roman fortress; the Hanging church, which is one of the most beautiful churches in Christendom.
The Hanging Church was built above Babylon Fortress, it was also a Seat of the Coptic Orthodox Pope of Alexandria until 1047. The hanging church also includes over 100 magnificent holly Icons from the 8th century till 18 century.
Ben Ezra Jewish synagogue is located on the site where Moses was praying during the time when Egypt was hit by a plague. Visit the Synagogue where the genizah that tells about the Jewish history in Egypt were found.
Mosque of Amr ibn al-As was the center for the newly born Islamic capital of Egypt el fustat. It was the first mosque in Africa. Overnight in Cairo

Alexandria Tour

Enjoy a day far away from the hustle and bustle of Cairo exploring the magnificent Coastal City of Alexandria From your Cairo hotel
Meet your guide and ride your private air-conditioned vehicle in the early morning and relax during the scenic 3-hour drive to Alexandria. This itinerary covers both sides of Alexandria: the archaeological site and the daily life one.
Start your day with a visit to Pompay’s Pillar, the biggest memorial column in Egypt. Standing in the ancient city of Alexandria, this structure is 100 feet high approximately. This will be followed by a visit to Kom El-Shoqafa Catacomb.
3 underground floors show how they used to bury the dead in the Greek-roman period. It will also show you how much Egyptian art reflects on them from many scenes decorated the tomb.
Next, visit the library of Alexandria from outside. It is the biggest library in the world now with its 8 million books. The library of Alexandria was opened in 2002. Later head to the castle of Qaitbey; which was built on the lighthouse site.
Alexandria’s famous lighthouse was one of the old seven wonders of the ancient world. Later on, you will go to the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city Abo El Abbas Mosque. Further, your guide will lead you to enjoy a walking tour from the unknown soldier Memorial blend with the locals gets deep into the small alleys the original streets of the city. You will see the oldest tram in Alexandria.
Afterward, reach El Ramel station, enjoy a delicious lunch and tasting local food in a well-selected restaurant, Then hop back to the vehicle drive along the Cornish 30 km to see the whole city of Alexandria from the seaside.
Stop over the famous bridge of Stanley, a modern landmark of modern Alexandria. Finally, head to the El Montazah to visit the Royal gardens of king Farouk to watch the royal Palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, a visit to royal beaches of the queens then return to the vehicle and relax during the journey back to your hotel in Cairo where the tour concludes.
