The initial price is based on 1 adult in group size with the lowest price in the low season

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and is left to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.

If your tour package includes airfare, an extra charge for your children may apply.

Egypt Day Tours do not require a cancellation fee for tours or excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons like volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons that are Out of control. If the booking cancellation happens For personal or business reasons and Egypt Day Tours has already incurred the booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

• The whole amount will be charged if canceled less than 30 days before the check-in date.
• 50% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 60 to 31 days before the check-in date.
• 15% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 90 to 61 days before the check-in date.

A 50% payment will be required from the total amount after confirming your tour booking as requested. You can pay by credit or debit card (MasterCard/Visa) through the VeriSign Secured payment system on our website, and the Rest of the Payment will be on a Cash basis upon you Start Your Tour to the Egypt Day Tours representative.

All tours don’t include entrance fees to special archaeological sites, such as walking inside one of the pyramids and the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo or entering the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor are also available at extra cost.

Extra personal expenses on the trip may include a food tour, alcoholic beverages, tipping, visa fees, recreational expenses, and other services not listed.

• In case of unforeseen events, such as bad weather and flight cancellations, you are responsible for extra hotel nights and meals.

The Luxor Day Tour package includes hotel pickup and dropoff, an English-speaking Egyptologist guide, entrance fees to all sites (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple), lunch at a local restaurant, and transportation by air-conditioned vehicle. Bottled water and snacks are also provided throughout the day.

The Luxor Day Tour involves moderate to high levels of walking, with approximately 8-10 kilometers covered throughout the day. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, as paths include both paved areas and uneven terrain. Visitors with mobility concerns should inform the tour operator in advance, as some accommodations may be available.

Bring sunscreen with high SPF, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, and light, loose-fitting clothing. The desert sun is intense, particularly between 11 AM and 3 PM. A camera with extra batteries is recommended for capturing stunning photographs. Bottled water is provided, but you may want to bring an additional water bottle.

The ideal season for the Luxor Day Tour is October through April, when temperatures are moderate and more comfortable for outdoor exploration. Summer months (June to August) can reach temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, making the tour more challenging. Book your Egypt day tour during the cooler season for the best experience.

Children aged 5 and above can participate in the Luxor Day Tour, though younger children may find the full day tiring due to extensive walking and historical explanations. Reduced rates are available for children under 12. Families should consider bringing snacks and entertainment for breaks, and ensure children wear adequate sun protection.

Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the tour start date. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50 percent cancellation fee. In case of extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, alternative dates will be offered at no additional charge.
