Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival Day - Cairo

Our first day in Egypt will be mainly free if you want to relax and take a rest from traveling disturbance.
You will arrive at the Cairo International Airport, where an Egypt Day Tours representative will meet you and assist you through immigration and offer you a direct transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a free day in the city if your time allows our representative will offer you some optional activities you can do if you are interested

Day 2:Visit the Great Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

At 8 am after your breakfast, you’ll meet your private guide for a morning of exploration in Cairo. The first stop of the day will be at the Great Pyramids of Giza which is the oldest monument of the ancient wonders. It is also the only one that still exists today. Pay attention to your guide as he tells you about how the pyramids had been constructed with very old and primitive techniques.

Pyramids were mainly built to house the remains of the deceased Pharaohs. Next, head to a panoramic view of all three pyramids of Giza to capture amazing photos that will last forever. The following will be a visit to the Great Sphinx in Cairo, the guardian of the royal tombs. Have a peek at the Valley Temple of the Pyramid of Chephren.

Afterwards, a drive through the busy streets of Cairo to the final stop of the day; the Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum of Cairo contains 120,000 artifacts. It houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities. An extensive collection of papyrus, Greek, Roman, and Islamic coins used in the Ancient world is located on the 1st floor. These sarcophagi give us a brief about how rich the owners were. Do not forget to have a look at the Grave Mask of King Amenemope, Mummy Mask of Psusennes I, Figurine of Khufu, Narmer Palette, and Merneptah Stele.

Day 3:Alexandria

After breakfast, Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, then you will be taken on a land trip for 3 hours to Alexandria. You will start your tour in Alexandria by visiting Pompey’s Pillar, Followed by a visit to the Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa.

Then visit the library of Alexandria from outside which is the biggest library in the world now with 8 million books (visit its open court + free museums), then visit the Site of the lighthouse one of the seven wonders of the ancient world we have now in the same site Citadel of Qaitbay, drive along the Cornish 30 km to see the whole city of Alexandria from seaside including the old harbor of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater, stop over the famous bridge of Stanley modern landmark of modern Alexandria, visit the old downtown of Alexandria to visit the Royal gardens of king Farouk to watch the royal Palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, royal beaches of the queens; King Farouk is the last king in the history of Egypt, then visit the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city Abo El Abbas Mosque, unknown soldier of Alexandria, the statue of Alexander the great. Then back to Cairo.

Day 4:Departure Day - Cairo

After breakfast, and getting a real flavor of Egypt’s history and daily life for a week, it is time for your adventure in Egypt to come to an end. Our tour escort will be waiting for you at the Hotel lobby and he will take you to Cairo Airport for Final Departure and he will assist you with immigration and customs.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in any of our packages and is left to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.

Children Policy

  • 0 – 01.99 Free of Charge (unless flights were included)
  • 2 – 5.99 pay 25% of the tour price and 50% of the tour price if it includes flights or sleeper train
  • 6 – 11.99 pay 50% of the tour price
  • 12+ pay full tour price as per adult person

If your tour package includes airfare, an extra charge for your children may apply.

Cancellation Policy

Ibis Egypt tours do not require a cancellation fee for tours or excursions canceled for ‘force majeure’ reasons like volcanoes, earthquakes, or reasons that are Out of control. If the booking cancellation happens For personal or business reasons and Ibis Egypt Tours has already incurred the booking costs on your behalf, these costs will be transferred to you.

  • The whole amount will be charged if canceled less than 30 days before the check-in date.
  • 50% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 60 to 31 days before the check-in date.
  • 15% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 90 to 61 days before the check-in date.

Deposit and Payment

A 50% payment will be required from the total amount after confirming your tour booking as requested. You can pay by credit or debit card (MasterCard/Visa) through the VeriSign Secured payment system on our website, and the Rest of the Payment will be on a Cash basis upon you Start Your Tour to the Ibis Egypt Tours representative.

Extra Expenses & Additional Entry Tickets

All tours don’t include entrance fees to special archaeological sites, such as walking inside one of the pyramids and the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo or entering the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor are also available at extra cost.
