After breakfast, Your tour begins with pick-up from your Alexandria hotel, starting with a short transfer to Pompay’s Pillar, the biggest memorial column in Egypt that dates back to the Alexandria Roman era.
Next, proceed to Kom El-Shoqafa Catacomb. Then we will make our way to visit the modern Alexandria library from outside which is the biggest library in the world now with 8 million books (visit its open court + free museums). That is called “Royal Alexandria library” & the greatest library you will Learn about the history of the building and the role they have played in Egypt’s vibrant cultural heritage.
Then continue your visit to the Alexandria lighthouse site now in the same castle of Qaitbey . You have to Explore the area around visiting the Abo El abbas Mosque, unknown soldier of Alexandria, the statue of Alexander the Great .
Your next stop will be at the famous bridge of Stanley it’s one of landmark of modern Alexandria .Later, head to the old down town of Alexandria to visit the Royal gardens of king Farouk to watch the royal Palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek , followed by a visit to royal beaches of the queens . After the Alexandria day tour ends, you will be dropped back off at your hotel.
