Karnak Temple
The Karnak Temple is a series of houses of worship dating back to the Pharaonic era, and extending over an area of more than 60 acres north of Luxor, and the Karnak Temple is the largest of its kind in Egypt and the world.
Through the stages of its construction and development, this temple reflects the history and culture of ancient Egypt, starting from the middle Pharaonic era and ending with the Ptolemaic era through 8 gates, each of which leads to a majestic building of 10 great buildings, making it one of the most important tourist attractions in Egypt.
Luxor temple
Luxor Temple is one of the most famous monuments in the city of Luxor and it’s alive evidence of the immortality of the pharaonic civilization with its hieroglyphs and wonderful illustrations carved in the temples.
The Temple was founded in 1400 BC, and is known in the Egyptian language as Aibit or the Southern Sanctuary. It is characterized by the two statues of Ramses II on both sides of the temple, and two large obelisks at the entrance, along with many valuable papyrus columns and distinctive stones.
Luxor Museum
Luxor Museum is a unique museum as it contains about 376 rare artifacts and mummies of the most important kings of Egypt. It consists of two floors: the first contains antiquities, and the second contains statues, antique pots and pieces of jewelry.
The museum displays a group of artifacts that were found in the tomb of King Tutankhamun, as well as statues representing the era of the New Kingdom, were found hidden near the Luxor Temple in 1989 AD.
Banana Island
